Business Lecturer (Levels 1-3)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer in Business to deliver high‑quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support to students at Levels 1‑3. Reporting to the Curriculum Manager, you will design engaging lessons and contribute to the college’s broader educational community.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement teaching and learning materials that support effective learning.
• Deliver engaging Business lessons for Levels 1‑3 and provide tutorial support.
• Identify and promote employment and skills‑focused study opportunities for learners.
• Arrange, coordinate and supervise practical work, events and assessment projects.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant professional qualification in Business or a related subject.
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
• Proven experience teaching Business at Levels 1‑3, preferably in an FE college or school.
• Strong knowledge of the current BTEC Business framework.
• Relevant industry experience in Business.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict validation deadlines.
