Business Lecturer – Temporary Teaching Role

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Business Lecturers to deliver high‑quality lessons for a range of Further Education providers in North London. This temporary, agency‑assigned position offers flexibility and the chance to impact learners across multiple business programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Business lessons for diverse learner groups.
• Assess, monitor and record student progress in line with college requirements.
• Provide constructive feedback and academic support to help learners achieve their goals.
• Maintain accurate teaching records and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Support learners in understanding contemporary business practices and theory.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or qualification in Business, Business Management, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Business in Further Education, Secondary, Higher Education or Adult Learning settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
