Business Protection Manager – Lead Sales & Retention

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Protection Manager to lead and develop our Sales and Retention teams within Everywhen Employee Benefits. The role sits alongside the Head of Business Development and will shape the protection proposition while driving growth and ensuring high‑quality, compliant customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Protection Consultants across new business acquisition and client retention.
• Achieve protection revenue and performance targets through both new client acquisition and retention of existing customers.
• Maintain and grow relationships with insurers, providers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure the team delivers compliant advice and consistently positive customer outcomes.
• Identify and drive cross‑referral opportunities across the wider Health and Employee Benefits business.
• Monitor team performance, provide feedback and support professional development.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of Everywhen’s Protection proposition.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Financial Services and the Protection market.
• Experience leading, coaching or mentoring sales and retention teams.
• Strong knowledge of protection products and customer needs.
• Track record of delivering growth through new business and client retention.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Customer‑focused approach with a commitment to quality outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
