Business Systems Administrator

About the role

System C is seeking a Business Systems Administrator to ensure the smooth, secure operation of its core business platforms. The role is hands‑on, focusing primarily on Jira Service Management while also supporting other enterprise tools such as Salesforce and NetSuite.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support Jira and Jira Service Management on a daily basis.
• Design and maintain workflows, automation rules, permissions, SLAs, dashboards, and reports.
• Manage service desk queues, request types, and customer portals to optimise support operations.
• Participate in change‑management processes, including upgrades, testing, and releases.
• Provide guidance, training, and problem‑solving assistance to colleagues.
• Support integrations, monitor data flows, and escalate complex issues when required.
• Document configurations and processes to ensure audit readiness and knowledge sharing.
• Assist with administration of Salesforce and NetSuite as priorities shift.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience administering Jira in a business or enterprise setting.
• Strong understanding of workflows, automation, permissions, SLAs, and reporting.
• Familiarity with IT service‑management concepts such as incident, problem, and change management.
• Detail‑oriented, organised, and audit‑aware mindset.
• Clear communicator comfortable working with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Curious and adaptable, able to transfer skills across platforms.
