Business Unit Integrator / Senior Finance Analyst

About the role

Join a leading defence organisation as a Business Unit Integrator and Senior Finance Analyst. You will provide critical financial insight, support project accounting throughout the contract lifecycle, and partner with operational leaders to drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a senior financial analyst, delivering timely information for management decision‑making.
• Provide full‑cycle project accounting support from proposal development to contract closure.
• Collaborate with business partners to produce Earned Value Management (EVM) estimates and reports for senior leadership.
• Analyse monthly performance data, identify cost variances and support mitigation strategies.
• Manage monthly and quarterly forecasting for designated contracts and business areas.
• Calculate and assess the impact of risks and opportunities on profitability.
• Develop performance reporting metrics and management information for programme leadership.

Required profile

• Experience in an operations‑facing finance team, partnering with managers and executives.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑starter attitude focused on delivering business results.
• Proficiency with IT tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Background in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Project Accounting/Controlling.
• Solid business and financial acumen, experience with EVM tools, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
