Buyer – Fashion & Trend-focused Role

About the role

The Buyer will partner closely with Merchandising, Design and Technical teams to create a commercial, trend‑led product range that resonates with ASOS’s global fashion audience. This role is central to shaping the assortment, ensuring it aligns with brand strategy and meets sales and profit targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a cohesive, gap‑free range that reflects the brand strategy and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with Design to influence product direction and ensure alignment with divisional goals.
• Deliver department KPIs, drive margin and profit, and manage risks in partnership with Merchandising.
• Use sales and trend data to anticipate customer needs and adapt the assortment for global markets.
• Identify gaps and opportunities within the range, optimizing trade plans for maximum impact.

Required profile

• Collaborative, organised and strategic mindset with a strong pulse on fashion trends.
• Ability to work across multiple teams including Design, Merchandising, Marketing and Garment Technology.
• Commercial acumen with a focus on delivering sales and profit targets.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret sales, trend and market data.
