About the role

Join Alina Homecare in Lancing as a Care Assistant and make a real difference to local people living in their own homes. You will provide compassionate, person‑centred support that helps clients maintain independence, dignity and self‑worth.

Key responsibilities

• Companionship – providing friendly interaction and preventing loneliness.
• Personal care – assisting with all aspects of personal hygiene.
• Medication – collecting prescriptions and providing reminders.
• Mealtimes – preparing tasty meals.
• Housekeeping – maintaining the home to the client’s preferences.
• Mobility – helping clients get around safely.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, compassion and a positive attitude.
• Responsible, dedicated and flexible approach to work.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
