Casual Nursery Assistant (Early Years)

About the role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Casual Nursery Assistant to join our supportive team at Pippa's House Day Nursery in Reigate. You will help create a safe, stimulating environment where children can explore, learn and thrive each day.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support children at all times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Assist qualified practitioners in planning and delivering age‑appropriate activities.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming nursery environment.
• Follow and implement all company policies, procedures and Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.
• Promote equality of access and opportunity for staff, parents and children.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Passionate about early years education and child development.
• Reliable, positive attitude and able to work well within a team.
• Willingness to adhere to policies and report any concerns promptly.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality where appropriate.
