Casualty Field Adjuster

About the role

Davies is seeking an experienced Liability Loss Adjuster to join its growing Casualty team. While prior industry experience is advantageous, full training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with insurers, policyholders and brokers to manage claim communications.
• Investigate allocated claims both in the field and from the desk, gathering evidence and documentation.
• Prepare preliminary reports detailing evidence, policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum and tactics.
• Determine appropriate actions for case resolution, negotiate settlements within authority limits, and defend where necessary.
• Maintain proper reserves through regular review and ensure compliance with client procedures.
• Stay updated on technical changes and participate in company‑facilitated training programmes.

Required profile

• Casualty Adjuster or investigator seeking a fresh challenge and demonstrating ambition.
• Ability to develop the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.
• Home‑based work covering caseloads in the North West of England, with required travel in the area.
