CFO / Finance Director – Private Equity Backed (Consumer Goods)

About the role

We are seeking a CFO / Finance Director to lead the finance function of a fast‑growing consumer goods, FMCG and retail supply business backed by private equity. The role is remote‑first but the successful candidate will be based in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the financial strategy supporting high‑growth and turnaround initiatives.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Manage relationships with private‑equity investors and other external funders.
• Lead M&A evaluation, due‑diligence and integration activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance.

Required profile

• Qualified finance professional (CFA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with senior leadership experience.
• Proven track record in consumer goods, manufacturing or retail supply sectors.
• Experience driving high‑growth or turnaround projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work with private‑equity owners or external investors.
