About the role
SSP is looking for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to lead fast‑paced kitchen shifts at Bournemouth Airport. You will supervise the kitchen team, maintain high culinary standards and ensure smooth operations across a high‑volume, high‑traffic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff during shifts.
- Complete kitchen administration including food hygiene records, stocktakes, wastage and cleanliness logs.
- Support the Kitchen Manager with recruitment, induction and retention of team members.
- Maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Adhere to health and safety and food safety regulations.
Required profile
- At least one year of experience in a high‑volume kitchen.
- Ability to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.
- Strong pressure handling, problem‑solving and leadership skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older for certain tasks and shifts.
Required skills
- Food hygiene record keeping.
- Stocktaking and wastage tracking.
- Cleanliness and sanitation documentation.
