Chemistry Teacher – September start, full‑time

About the role

A Chemistry Teacher is required for a co‑educational secondary school in South London, starting in September. The position is full‑time and initially long‑term, covering Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 classes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for KS3‑KS5.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare resources, experiments and classroom materials.
• Contribute to the development and review of the Chemistry curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support the sixth‑form partnership.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS check (clear and up‑to‑date).
• Experience teaching Chemistry in UK schools (suitable for an ECT or experienced teacher).

Required skills

• Strong Chemistry subject knowledge.
