About the role
A Chemistry Teacher is required for a co‑educational secondary school in South London, starting in September. The position is full‑time and initially long‑term, covering Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 classes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for KS3‑KS5.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare resources, experiments and classroom materials.
- Contribute to the development and review of the Chemistry curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support the sixth‑form partnership.
Required profile
- Right to work in the UK.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS check (clear and up‑to‑date).
- Experience teaching Chemistry in UK schools (suitable for an ECT or experienced teacher).
Required skills
- Strong Chemistry subject knowledge.
