CHEP Asset Auditor – Field Audits

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Auditor to perform independent physical audits of CHEP equipment on behalf of Chep. Based in Braintree, you will travel across a territory covering Peterborough, Wisbech, March, Swaffham, Downham Market and surrounding areas, verifying customer asset holdings and reporting discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled physical audits of CHEP equipment at customer locations.
• Accurately count and verify assets, documenting any discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Plan and manage travel, site visits and appointments efficiently across the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders in retail, distribution, manufacturing and operational environments.
• Handle objections, access challenges and sensitive conversations professionally.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy travel schedule.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
