Class 1 Driver – Collections & Delivery

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Class 1 Driver to join our team and make multi‑drop palletised deliveries across the South West. You will operate a curtain‑side vehicle, ensure safe loading, and keep customers informed throughout each journey.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a curtain‑side vehicle to complete multi‑drop pallet deliveries.
• Load and secure goods in accordance with legal and safety standards.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay current with industry standards.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 CE licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience delivering directly to client sites (advantageous).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Confident, polite, team‑player with good geographical knowledge of the South West.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• UK Class 1 CE licence.
• DCPC Card.
• Digital Tachograph Driver Card.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £16 (minimum 48 hrs/week) and £20 for Saturdays.
• Overtime paid at £16 per hour.
• Shift start at 07:30 hrs with overtime as needed.
