Class 2 Driver – Full‑time Delivery Role

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a busy wholesale distribution team in Manchester. The role involves regular deliveries to customers across the North West, with early‑morning starts and occasional overnight assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled deliveries to wholesale customers, typically 12‑15 drops per day.
• Operate a goods vehicle safely within a warehouse and fleet environment.
• Pick and pack orders as required and assist with loading and unloading.
• Handle manual loading tasks and ensure accurate, timely customer deliveries.
• Work early mornings and be available for occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in a Class 2 driver role.
• Flexibility to meet tight delivery windows and customer demands.
• Physical and mental aptitude for manual and mechanical work.
• Clean UK Class 2 driving licence (age 25+ due to insurance rules).
• Ability to use basic IT systems and keyboard entry.

Required skills

• Class 2 driving licence.
• Forklift operation (licence or training provided).
• IT database usage and basic computer skills.
