Class 2 Driver – Store to Home Deliveries (Hedge End)

About the role

GXO Logistics, in partnership with B&Q, is seeking an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join its Store to Home team in Hedge End. You will work on a rotating two‑week shift pattern delivering a range of products directly to customers' homes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform multi‑drop deliveries to customer premises, averaging 16 drops per day off‑peak and up to 24 drops during peak periods.
• Maintain accurate driving and working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries in line with WTD regulations.
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally and efficiently.
• Verify that the correct products are loaded and delivered, providing customers with appropriate documentation.
• Communicate estimated delivery times and any issues to customers in a courteous manner.

Required profile

• Previous experience in multi‑drop or store deliveries (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement and no more than six penalty points.
• Valid CPC certification and a Digital Tachograph.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
• Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment DBS check and commute to Hedge End for the shift pattern.
