Class 2 Refuse Truck Driver – Avonmouth

About the role

A leading utilities provider is expanding its team and is looking for a Class 2 Refuse Truck Driver in Avonmouth, Bristol. The role suits someone who enjoys early starts, steady hours and working in a supportive team. It is advertised as a temporary position with immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Collect food waste from businesses across Bristol and surrounding areas
• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse vehicle safely and efficiently
• Complete daily routes on time
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC and tachograph card
• Good knowledge of the Bristol area is advantageous but not essential
• Positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic

What we offer

• Pay of 16.00 per hour (about 37,000 basic), rising to 21.8 per hour with overtime
• Overtime after 9 hours at 24.00 per hour
• Weekly pay, Monday to Friday, 05:00 to 14:00 with a paid 1-hour break
