About the role
Westfield Infant School is looking for a qualified Class Teacher to join the team on a part‑time basis. The position is for four days a week (0.8 FTE) with the exact days to be agreed at appointment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess curriculum for the assigned class.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate with the existing 0.2 FTE teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about pupil progress.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with experience in early years or infant education.
- Willingness to work flexibly across four days per week.
- Strong organisational and classroom management abilities.
