Class Teacher

About the role

Westfield Infant School is looking for a qualified Class Teacher to join the team on a part‑time basis. The position is for four days a week (0.8 FTE) with the exact days to be agreed at appointment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum for the assigned class.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with the existing 0.2 FTE teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about pupil progress.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of young learners.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience in early years or infant education.
• Willingness to work flexibly across four days per week.
• Strong organisational and classroom management abilities.
