Classified Advertising Executive

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Classified Advertising Executive to join the British Dental Journal team at Springer Nature in London. This fixed‑term, hybrid position offers a fast‑paced environment where you will develop expertise in both print and digital advertising while supporting the journal’s revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Sell classified advertising space across the UK for both print and online BDJ products.
• Manage a high volume of inbound enquiries and nurture existing client relationships.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, preparing tailored proposals.
• Maintain accurate sales records in the CRM system and provide weekly revenue forecasts.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and share of market.
• Represent the brand at trade shows, conferences and client meetings.

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of advertising sales, from print to rich‑media digital formats.
