Client Accounts Apprentice

About the role

Start your accounting career in Manchester with hands‑on client finance experience, AAT training and support from an experienced team. You will work within the Client Accounts team, assisting with property and lease data, reconciliations and client reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping of property, lease and financial data on databases.
• Assist Client Accountants with standard and ad‑hoc client reports, ensuring accurate VAT and statement reconciliations.
• Prepare treasury instructions for demand recharges, rent transfers, account amendments and property‑related payments.
• Handle general maintenance of client funds, tenant refunds and other miscellaneous administration tasks.

Required profile

• Good organisational skills with strong written, presentation and numerical abilities.
• Excellent communication, punctual, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Detail‑driven, able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
