Client Partner – Financial Services & Insurance

About the role

Datatonic, Google Cloud’s premier AI partner, is seeking a Client Partner to lead and scale complex, multi‑workstream transformation programmes within its Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) portfolio. You will act as the commercial and strategic nexus for major enterprise insurers and global financial institutions, driving AI and data initiatives on Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex, multi‑workstream delivery across data, AI and cloud projects, ensuring high quality and value realization.
• Co‑sell with Google Cloud account teams to expand accounts, unlock new budget lines and drive joint transformation initiatives.
• Establish trusted‑advisor relationships with C‑level, SVP and risk/technology stakeholders in regulated banking and insurance environments.
• Lead Master Services Agreements, SOW scoping and complex contract negotiations, growing accounts through 1‑3 year transformation roadmaps.
• Translate technical solutions such as Generative AI, ML platforms and data modernisation into measurable ROI for executive sponsors.

Required profile

• Proven FSI and enterprise consulting experience with multi‑million‑pound account portfolios.
• Deep knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem and co‑selling mechanics.
• Ability to oversee concurrent technical workstreams (Data Platforms, MLOps, Analytics) with a focus on governance and commercial expansion.
• Scale‑up DNA: resilient, adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast‑growing business.
• Consultative, regulatory‑savvy approach to governance, security and compliance in tier‑1 insurance and financial institutions.
