Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Leeds

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an ambitious Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Associate to join its nationally recognised team in Leeds. You will work on high‑quality defendant clinical negligence matters for NHS Trusts, medical defence organisations and private healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of defendant clinical negligence claims from instruction to resolution.
• Draft legal documents, prepare court bundles and meet all procedural deadlines.
• Attend client meetings, settlement discussions and mediations.
• Provide clear, commercially‑focused legal advice as the main point of contact for clients.
• Ensure compliance with client protocols, internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support team initiatives such as training sessions, knowledge sharing and business development.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Associate with experience in clinical negligence, personal injury or insurance litigation.
• Experience with NHS Resolution or medical defence organisations is desirable but not essential.
• Strong drafting, analytical and case‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and client‑care skills.
• Collaborative team player willing to mentor junior colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic case management systems.
