CNC Programmer – Precision Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well‑established precision manufacturing company in Chorley. The role is full‑time, permanent and based on‑site, offering a Monday‑Friday days‑only schedule with a short Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate 3‑axis and 5‑axis CNC milling machines.
• Work with a variety of metals including steel, aluminium and alloys to very tight tolerances.
• Produce one‑off parts and small batches, including fabrication machining.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality standards are met.

Required profile

• Background in a machine‑shop manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a CNC Programmer/Miller.
• Familiarity with HAAS or Heidenhain controls (training can be provided).
