Commercial Account Manager - FMCG

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join our FMCG team in Kent. This permanent, office‑based position will support the growth of key client accounts and drive category performance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver market‑leading category management to achieve client sales and share targets.
• Maintain and develop commercially beneficial relationships with key customers.
• Create, implement and communicate joint category plans.
• Provide weekly sales forecasts and accurate account data for long‑term planning.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve product quality and freshness within the supply chain.
• Liaise with internal teams (supply chain, procurement, technical, operations) to ensure timely product delivery.
• Address sourcing and availability issues and resolve technical or quality concerns.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour.
• Generate reports on sales, volumes, margins and pricing as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of category management and sales forecasting.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with key accounts.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Office‑based work in Kent, South East England.
