Commercial Financial Controller – FMCG

About the role

The Commercial Financial Controller will lead financial operations and provide strategic guidance for a leading FMCG organisation. This permanent position offers the chance to influence business performance through robust financial management and partnership with commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial analysis and insights to support sales, marketing and operations decisions.
• Partner with senior commercial teams to drive profitability, pricing, mix and promotion performance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, ensuring alignment with cross‑functional strategies.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Manage and optimise reporting systems, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Present financial results and recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in commercial finance within the consumer sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of driving financial performance and business growth.
