About the role

This position is with a successful Dorset‑based insurance broker looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler. You will manage a dedicated portfolio of commercial clients, providing tailored insurance solutions and ensuring renewals are secured at competitive rates.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts.
• Quote new business and negotiate renewals with underwriters.
• Arrange appropriate cover and competitive premiums for clients.
• Develop strong relationships with underwriters and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Provide professional advice and support to key clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance account handling.
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance products and underwriting processes.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with underwriters and clients.
• Professional demeanor with the authority to manage important client accounts.
• Office‑based availability Monday to Friday.
