Commercial Insurance Broker – Hybrid (South East England)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial and corporate clients. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both from our Lingfield office and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Control the renewal process for assigned clients, gathering information and negotiating terms.
• Maintain and expand the book of business by securing new business quotes.
• Engage with brokers to obtain competitive terms that meet client objectives.
• Visit clients as needed to build strong relationships.
• Handle account queries, credit control matters and raise concerns to the appropriate team.
• Identify and act on new‑business opportunities, using sound judgement to recommend them.

Required profile

• Proven track record in commercial insurance broking or underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of the client market, London Market and Lloyds.
• Relevant industry qualifications, ideally CII or higher.
• Driven, hardworking and business‑focused with a client‑centred approach.

Required skills

• CII qualification (or higher).
• In‑depth knowledge of the London Market.
• Commercial insurance broking expertise.
• Insurance underwriting knowledge.
