Commercial Logistics Manager (Hybrid, Field-Based)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Logistics Manager to join a leading supply chain and logistics organisation. The role is hybrid, based in Dover, and involves developing new business and expanding existing client relationships across a range of logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial growth strategies to win new business and expand existing accounts.
• Manage pricing strategies and commercial negotiations to ensure profitability.
• Collaborate with operational teams to deliver tailored, high‑quality logistics solutions.
• Travel across the UK to meet customers, strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Drive revenue growth and margin performance across freight, transport, warehousing and customs services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a commercial, business development or sales role within the logistics sector.
• Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth in freight forwarding, transport, supply chain, customs or warehousing environments.
• Strong commercial awareness with a focus on profitability.
• Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
