Commercial Manager

About the role

Mastercard’s Vocalink division is seeking a Commercial Manager to join its Product Management function. The role sits at the heart of the UK payments ecosystem, supporting the delivery of critical services that process billions of transactions each year.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate commercial opportunities, review cost estimates and develop business cases for strategic decisions.
• Manage major scheme contracts, ensuring obligations are understood and met.
• Interpret contractual requirements and align them with operational delivery across Product, Finance, Legal, Operations and Technology.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal to translate regulatory changes into commercial and operational actions.
• Oversee the customer billing team, ensuring accurate billing, debt collection and end‑to‑end price change processes.
• Provide surge support during peak periods and contribute to change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale commercial functions in a complex, cross‑functional environment.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on contract compliance and regulatory impact.
