Commercial Property Claims Technician – Hybrid (Bolton)

About the role

The role is a Desktop Commercial Property Adjuster based in Bolton, working on a portfolio of commercial material damage and business interruption claims. It is a hybrid position, requiring attendance at the client’s office 1‑2 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial property damage and business interruption losses from initial assessment through settlement.
• Produce full, detailed reports for each site visit, including recommendations for settlement.
• Maintain an accurate diary and ensure timely updates for all assigned cases.
• Deliver service within client SLAs and meet rigorous audit criteria.
• Liaise proactively with insurers, policyholders, contractors and other stakeholders to facilitate claim resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial property claims handling.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while adhering to service level agreements.
• Strong written communication skills for detailed reporting.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and settlement procedures.
• Proactive, solution‑focused approach.
