Community Caretaker (36 hrs/week)

About the role

Join Clarion Housing Group’s Neighbourhoods team as a Community Caretaker, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety and security of residential estates across Bristol. You will be the visible face of Clarion, interacting with residents and ensuring communal areas are well‑kept.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and caretaking duties across multiple estates.
• Report repairs and liaise with maintenance teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Remove bulk waste items from communal areas and ensure proper disposal.
• Drive between sites, conducting inspections and supporting residents as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents and waste collections.

Required profile

• Previous experience in caretaking, cleaning or a similar facilities‑management role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Ability to travel across the Bristol region and work flexible hours.
• Full, valid manual UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
