Community Investment Executive

About the role

The client is a successful construction and refurbishment contractor seeking a Community Investment Executive to lead the delivery, monitoring and reporting of social‑value commitments across multiple projects. The role is primarily field‑based with occasional office visits, offering a hybrid working pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Develop social‑value proposals for tenders and create project‑specific action plans.
• Coordinate apprenticeships, work placements, volunteering activities and community‑engagement events.
• Integrate social‑value commitments into daily site operations alongside project teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, housing associations, schools, colleges, job centres and community organisations.
• Support subcontractors and supply‑chain partners to meet social‑value targets.
• Collect, validate and report project data against contractual KPIs.
• Produce regular dashboards and reports for internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in social value, CSR, sustainability or community engagement.
• Strong communication, stakeholder‑engagement and organisational abilities.
• Proven experience tracking data and producing reports.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Understanding of construction bids or the National TOMs framework is desirable.
