Compliance Clerk

About the role

DPD UK is looking for a Compliance Clerk to support the Compliance Controllers and Managers across the Transport department. The role involves monitoring legal compliance for agency and employed drivers, vehicle maintenance, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate missing mileage and ensure transport targets are met.
• Complete Time Right and Lead checks, handling large data sets for drivers.
• Audit agency documentation and verify driver cards and vehicle records.
• Manage extensive data entry to keep driver and vehicle compliance up to date.
• Provide accurate information to depots to facilitate compliance management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and file paperwork correctly.
• Identify trends and report them to relevant managers.
• Assist with peer and senior‑management tasks during absences.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education, preferably recent graduate.
• Experience with Google documents and handling large volumes of data.
• Self‑motivated, analytical, highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of transport compliance is advantageous but not essential.
