Compliance & Sustainability Administrator

About the role

Our client is seeking a highly organised Compliance & Sustainability Administrator to support product and packaging compliance in a fast‑moving commercial environment. The role involves managing data, documentation and supplier communication to ensure legal, technical and environmental standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate product testing programmes and maintain accurate test records.
• Manage supplier documentation, specifications and approvals, liaising with UK and Far‑East partners.
• Review packaging copy and artwork for compliance with regulatory and sustainability requirements.
• Support recycling and sustainability initiatives, ensuring products and packaging meet environmental obligations.
• Maintain version‑controlled records and internal data systems.
• Assist wider technical and compliance projects across the business.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Comfortable handling large volumes of data and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Interest in sustainability, packaging or compliance is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £28,000‑£35,000 (DOE).
• Annual bonus.
• Standard office hours: Monday‑Thursday 08:30‑17:00, Friday 09:00‑15:00.
