About the role
We are looking for a French‑speaking Conference Manager to own the operational standards of every private‑equity conference we run. Based in our London headquarters, you will lead the end‑to‑end execution of ten European conferences each year, ensuring flawless venues, supplier coordination, on‑site teams and overall attendee experience.
Key responsibilities
- Research, select and negotiate with suppliers for event add‑ons, branding materials and services.
- Maintain supplier relationships and resolve any issues promptly.
- Manage conference budgets, approve changes and ensure cost‑effectiveness.
- Plan and execute sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners and after‑hours activities.
- Coordinate logistics with venue staff, on‑site teams and external partners.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of each conference, from venue booking to post‑event debrief.
Required profile
- Fluent in French and English.
- Detail‑oriented operator who thrives under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts.
- Willingness to travel for overseas conferences.
