Construction Delivery Manager

About the role

Join EDF on one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects at Hinkley Point C. As a Construction Delivery Manager you will lead daily onsite construction activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and alignment with project timelines for a large‑scale nuclear programme.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily onsite construction work, guaranteeing safe and efficient delivery.
• Monitor progress against the four‑week plan, escalating risks or delays as needed.
• Coordinate multiple contractors, trades and service providers to keep the programme on track.
• Support permit‑to‑work processes, inspections and site assurance activities.
• Produce clear site reports and performance dashboards for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven onsite experience in construction, oil & gas or a comparable major‑project environment.
• Demonstrable mechanical and electrical delivery experience across multidisciplinary works.
• Experience coordinating several contractors on live construction packages.
• Working knowledge of construction sequencing, planning and risk identification on active sites.
• Ability to produce site reports and support daily stakeholder coordination.
• Business‑level proficiency in French (oral and written) before relocation to France.
