Construction Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Instructor to join our Aberdeen‑based training team. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will deliver high‑quality construction and health‑and‑safety training, preparing learners for industry‑recognised certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and customise course materials for construction and H&S programmes.
• Deliver engaging classroom and practical sessions to diverse trainee groups.
• Assess trainee performance, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure all training activities comply with current health‑and‑safety regulations and best practices.
• Stay informed of industry standards, certification requirements and emerging trends.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, health‑and‑safety legislation and related standards.
• Proven experience delivering training or teaching in a construction environment.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, CSCS or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Practical construction industry experience.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET) is beneficial.
