Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the delivery of Stone Bathwear’s residential and mixed‑use new‑build projects in London. Reporting to the project delivery team, you will combine technical expertise, commercial acumen and strong leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate construction activities across multiple sites, managing internal teams and external consultants.
• Review and approve drawings, design changes, RAMS, logistic plans, scopes of work and contract variations.
• Monitor programme progress, produce weekly updates, delay reports and manage site handover documentation.
• Conduct technical audits and propose efficient construction methods in collaboration with the design team and client.
• Oversee safety planning, method statements, HSQE meetings, toolbox talks, site walks and incident reporting.
• Utilise construction management software (Excel, ASTA, MS Project, Fieldview, Aconex, Datascope) to plan and track work.
• Plan equipment and material delivery, manage storage, access requirements and ensure smooth handover to the client.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction or project management on residential and mixed‑use developments.
• Strong leadership and influencing abilities with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent understanding of construction processes, health & safety regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel, ASTA, MS Project, Fieldview, Aconex and Datascope.
• Experience preparing and reviewing RAMS, method statements and safety documentation.
• Competence in programme monitoring and reporting.
