Contract Manager – Offshore/Onshore

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Contract Manager to support a high‑profile carbon capture project that spans both offshore and onshore environments. The role will drive end‑to‑end contract lifecycle management, ensuring value is maximised throughout the sourcing and procurement process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement contract strategies, ITTs and award recommendations for complex, high‑criticality contracts.
• Source, procure and negotiate with major suppliers, leading competitive tenders and ensuring optimal commercial outcomes.
• Manage major capital‑project sourcing activities in line with client HSES, energy policies, standards and procedures.
• Draft and maintain frameworks, call‑off agreements, and pre‑qualification/evaluation criteria.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to create contract plans that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee proactive contract management, claim negotiations, variation assessments and dispute resolution.
• Maintain a strong market network to stay aware of upcoming opportunities and supplier developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract lifecycle management within the energy or infrastructure sector.
• Strong understanding of complex procurement processes and commercial negotiation.
• Ability to work as a business partner with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of HSES, energy policies, standards and procedures.
