Contracts Manager – Interior Fit‑out Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead multiple interior fit‑out and refurbishment projects for a well‑established contractor serving the UK commercial sector. The role involves overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction while supporting the Director in growing the business.

Key responsibilities

• Managing multiple interior fit‑out projects.
• Acting as the key point of contact for clients, subcontractors and site teams.
• Planning and coordinating project programmes.
• Ensuring health & safety compliance across all works.
• Managing subcontractors, materials and project resources.
• Monitoring project performance, cost control and quality standards.
• Conducting site visits and providing leadership to site teams.
• Building strong client relationships and ensuring excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within construction, fire protection, drylining, ceilings, partitioning or fit‑out.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, regulations and construction processes.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and project management experience.
• Ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
