About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead utilities and civil engineering projects across the North East of England. You will work for a family‑feel construction firm that values staff development and delivers complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.

Key responsibilities

Oversee multiple contracts simultaneously in civils, construction, refurbishments, roofing and utilities.
Manage project budgets, timelines and quality standards as the principal contractor.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
Maintain health and safety compliance on all sites.

Required profile

Proven contract management experience in civils or utilities.
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Valid driving licence and ability to travel within daily driving range in Northern England.
