Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

About the role

This position offers a blend of corporate tax compliance and advisory work within a top‑10 national accountancy and advisory firm. You will manage a diverse client portfolio ranging from large international groups to SMEs, working closely with senior tax partners and directors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients across multiple sectors.
• Prepare and review corporate tax compliance work.
• Support tax advisory projects such as restructurings, acquisitions, disposals, and group planning.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and deliver practical solutions.
• Support and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate with Partners and Directors on complex client matters.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT or equivalent qualification (or studying towards).
• Corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax.
• Experience managing client relationships and workloads.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and keen to develop advisory expertise.
