Corporate Tax Manager – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing specialist team delivering proactive corporation tax services to a diverse portfolio of financial services clients in London. The role involves client‑facing work, collaboration with partners and junior staff, and contributing to business development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporation tax compliance for a portfolio of corporate clients, including standalone entities and groups.
• Provide tax advisory on structures, restructuring, group tax planning, international matters, venture capital reliefs, acquisitions, disposals and due‑diligence reports.
• Identify tax‑efficient opportunities and work with partners to implement them.
• Oversee billing and work‑in‑progress tracking.
• Line‑manage junior staff, support their development, training and appraisal.
• Participate in business development activities and sector networking events.

Required profile

• Deliver high‑quality work and excellent client service.
• Strong client‑focused attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team, influence and negotiate.
• Excellent communication skills with all internal and external levels.
• Creative mindset to spot tax opportunities and pitfalls.
• Experience managing a client portfolio, including group structures.
• CTA qualification.
• Good Microsoft Office proficiency; familiarity with Alpha tax is a plus.

What we offer

• Salary £65,000‑£75,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
