Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join our in‑house tax team in Leeds. The role offers exposure to a wide range of UK and international tax matters within a collaborative, commercially focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support employment tax matters such as PAYE Settlement Agreements, Benefits in Kind, Off‑Payroll Working and National Minimum Wage compliance.
• Assist with tax governance, including Senior Accounting Officer obligations, Tax Strategy and Corporate Criminal Offence processes.
• Manage corporation tax compliance for a portfolio of UK entities.
• Coordinate overseas tax advisors for international operations.
• Provide support on property tax matters, including SDLT and related considerations.
• Handle HMRC enquiries and audits.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to assess tax implications of business and legislative changes.

Required profile

• ACA, CTA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong corporate tax experience gained in practice or industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Comfortable interpreting and applying UK tax legislation.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
• Keen to develop within a supportive in‑house tax function.
