Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Corporate Tax Manager to join our forward‑thinking accountancy practice in Leeds. You will act as a trusted adviser to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, delivering both compliance and strategic tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, building long‑term relationships.
• Oversee preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns.
• Provide practical corporate tax advice and identify planning opportunities.
• Advise on business acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and group reorganisations.
• Collaborate with accounts, audit and advisory teams to support wider commercial objectives.
• Review work, give technical guidance and mentor junior tax team members.
• Contribute to business development and networking activities.

Required profile

• Strong corporate tax experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• ACA, ACCA, CTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and liaise with senior stakeholders.
• Interest in advisory, commercially focused tax work and continuous development.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills with the capacity to handle multiple deadlines.
