Credit Controller (French Speaking)

About the role

This position is for a French‑speaking Credit Controller supporting an internationally operating organisation near Weybridge. The role is hybrid, combining office presence with remote work, and focuses on cash collection, debt reduction and credit risk management across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Own cash collection processes and drive debt reduction initiatives.
• Engage with key clients to align payment terms with contractual obligations.
• Monitor customer payments against business performance to limit risk exposure.
• Gather information for credit checks and set appropriate credit limits.
• Identify high‑risk customers and propose risk‑mitigation actions.
• Liaise with lawyers on legal actions against international customers.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders on potential legal actions.
• Manage internal queries and maintain the credit control mailbox.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English.
• Extensive experience handling high‑volume sales ledgers.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Strong analytical, numeracy and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

• Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
• Microsoft Word (intermediate level).
