Credit & Political Risk Insurance Operations Apprentice

About the role

Howden's Credit & Political Risk team helps businesses protect themselves against financial and political risks worldwide, and the Operations team keeps everything behind the scenes organised, accurate and efficient. This apprenticeship offers a permanent role from day one, with an 18-month development programme starting in September 2027. You will work in the office at least 4 days per week and must live within commuting distance.

Key responsibilities

• Learn how insurance solutions support organisations operating internationally
• Keep client records accurate and up to date
• Support the administration of insurance policies and contracts, including updating records and processing documentation changes
• Help with process improvement projects to improve team efficiency
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to deliver excellent service to clients

Required profile

• No experience required; the employer teaches everything needed
• Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK
• Lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years
• Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths
• Not already holding a qualification that significantly overlaps with this apprenticeship
