About the role
Based in the Cruise Department at Port of Tilbury, you will supervise vessel operations, coordinate staff and stakeholders, and ensure a high‑quality experience for cruise passengers and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare terminals for cruise and event activities and ensure all operational requirements are met.
- Liaise with agency labour suppliers to secure appropriate staffing levels.
- Maintain a safe environment, complying with legislative and company safety policies.
- Investigate incidents and complete accident and damage reports.
- Develop detailed action plans for each vessel visit, including car‑parking control.
- Supervise vessel operations according to terminal procedures and standards.
- Coordinate shoreside activities with internal teams and external service providers.
- Maintain accurate operational, security and plant usage records and report maintenance needs.
- Provide flexible support across different port assets as required.
Required profile
- Excellent IT and report‑writing abilities.
- Knowledge or understanding of cruise operations.
- Strong communication and safety awareness.
- Problem‑solving capability.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Full UK working rights.
