Customer Care Team Member – Fixed Term (4 months)

About the role

Join Abel & Cole’s customer care team for a four‑month fixed‑term contract supporting the busy Christmas period. You will be the voice of the brand to customers and the voice of customers to the business, delivering a personal and knowledgeable service across phone and email.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers over the phone with queries and account set‑up.
• Reply to customer emails in a friendly yet professional manner.
• Act as an ambassador for the company’s B Corp values, considering social and environmental impact in decisions.
• Adhere to the Quality Framework, meeting daily performance and accuracy targets.

• People‑person with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Keen interest in food and the company’s mission.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate about delivering a personal customer experience.
• Previous customer service experience desirable but not essential.
• Basic IT skills; systems training will be provided.

What we offer

• Salary of £27,300 per annum (full‑time equivalent).
• 37.5 hours per week, typically 8:30 am–5:00 pm, Monday‑Saturday.
